Still time to join new classes
starting for spring, 2005. These neighborhood-based small business classes, sponsored by
Neighborhood Development Center in St. Paul, fill fast. They're
16 weeks long and concentrate on writing a sound business plan for
new or existing ventures. Contact Kathy Moriarty of NDC at kathym@windndc.org or at
651-291-2480, x18, for general information. Go NDC
website for more information.
Classes I'm teaching this spring
follow. Some are still taking applications. Or plan for next fall.

Other great small
business training.
Microsoft offers
an on-going business training program all across the country. Some
are offered for specific audiences like minority women or techies.
But most are appropriate for individuals looking to gain more
knowledge about good technology applications and products for
business. Those I've attended have been very good. And they're free.
Inc.Magazine offers
seminars on lots of timely, practical topics for growing businesses.
These are top-rate consistently and usually draw large numbers of
attendees. They've sought out speakers with excellent knowledge and
presentation skills. Definitely worth your time. And usually
free.
SCORE offers
lots of low-cost seminars and workshops. This link will take you to
a directory of local SCORE groups. Then you can click to see what
one in your locale offers.
Specialized
and custom training.
