Every business plan
has three basic components:
- Business Description
- Marketing Plan
- Financial Plan
These three components are the core of
every business and the core of every plan.
Business Description
answers the "who, what, where, when,
why" questions about your business. In short categorized
sections, you describe the essence of your
venture.
Marketing Plan describes
how you'll create customers and sales. You include information about
the state of the greater market to which your business belongs,
competition and how you compare, target marketings, and what
strategies you'll employ to turn prospects into sales.
Financial Plan outlines
your financial need, start-up or expansion costs, assumptions behind
your financial plan, and projected sales, expenses, cash flow, and
balance sheet.
